Description

Supplied with a fixing kit, roof felt and installation instructions like its fellow Shire sheds, this 8ft x 10ft Shire Overlap Apex Shed has 34mm square framing for strength and is designed for commendable storage. Generous in eaves height and double-doored, you will find access to this shed particularly efficient.

The shed also has a row of non-opening windows on one side to create a light and airy space. They can be fitted on the side you desire and are equipped with safety glazing. With a hasp and staple catch, you can ensure the double doors in the 8ft gable are closed securely and confidently with the use of your own padlock.

While the floor and roof are structured from solid sheet OSB, the wall panels are fabricated from high-grade, slow-grown FSC Certified timber. The building is dip treated with a basecoat that, once the shed is assembled, can be completed with your own topcoat.

Please note:

  • The imperial measurements are rounded, meaning that metric sizes are better for accuracy. It is wise to make allowances for the roof overhang and access around the outside during construction and treatment. You can choose your delivery day after ordering and on the day of delivery, live tracking will be supplied.
  • Base note:
  • Whether it is a concrete or paving slab base or on bearers, all bases need to be level, flat and square to stop panel strain, twisting and long-lasting damage. In turn, panels are able to fit squarely together, gaps are reduced and doors close accurately.
  • Timber note:
  • Garden buildings often utilise pine, but Shire employs high-quality spruce with strict FSC guidance (Forestry Stewardship Council) for higher durability and an advanced finish. Tighter grain, less sap and warping, and fewer knots are some of the benefits of slow grown timber. Performance is not hindered by any splits or 'shakes' that may present themselves.
  • Delivery is restricted to mainland England and Wales. If you are unsure whether your postcode is excluded, please call us to confirm.
