Description

There are no windows in this shed which makes it perfect for keeping your belongings out of sight. With robust 34mm square framing, this Shire shed comes complete with installation instructions, roofing felt and a fixing kit, everything you need for a straightforward assembly process. Both the floor and roof are fabricated from solid sheet OSB while the wall panels are produced from high-grade, slow-grown, FSC Certified timber. The building is dip-treated with a base coat, ready for you to apply a top layer after assembly.

The imperial measurements are rounded so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy. Allowance should be made for the roof overhang and for access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment. Base note:
Please ensure that your base is flat, level and square whether this is a paving slab, concrete base or on bearers. This ensures the building is stable and level and stops excess strain on the panels that could lead to twisting/long-term damage. The building staying level also means the panels will fit neatly together, preventing gaps and ensuring doors close correctly.
Timber note:
A good quality timber garden building starts with quality timber. The most commonly used timber for garden buildings is pine. Shire buildings are constructed using high-quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce is more durable than pine and delivers a higher-quality finish. The timber is slow grown which means less sap, a tighter gran and far less warping and knots occurring. In some circumstances, 'shakes' or slight splits may be seen in the timber. These are normal and will not impact the performance of your garden building.
