Designed for use with various decking and floor joist applications, this RDA-8 self-levelling adjustable decking pedestal is manufactured from recycled polypropylene. With impressive bitumen, alkali, algae and mould resistance, this pedestal from RynoDeck is a comprehensive alternative to shims for height adjustments and can withstand 2100kg compression in -40°C to 120°C temperatures.
For height adjustments between 400mm and 500mm, the self-levelling pedestal reduces length of installation with less parts and less time devoted to using shims. The height extension collar lets you make 100mm build-ups and the threaded area allows millimetre accurate adjustments within the stated scale.
Membranes are defended from piercing with the wide supporting base that efficiently spreads the load. The self-levelling bearer support head (that can be replaced by a deck tile head for laying decking tiles as opposed to timber) has a ball and socket joint for forming levelling corrections of 10.5% (6°) and less. With versatile joist lugs, varying bearer widths of up to 100mm can also be made.
