Manufactured from recycled polypropylene, this RDA-2 self-levelling adjustable pedestal from RynoDeck is able to endure up to 2100kg compression and temperatures from -40°C to 120°C. It simultaneously resists alkali, mould, bitumen and algae, and is suitable for use with a selection of decking and floor joists.
This self-levelling pedestal permits height corrections between 50mm and 70mm while also distributing the weight of the load across the wide support base, in turn preventing membranes from piercing. Shims are unnecessary when the pedestals are installed, which reduces the number of parts required and eases the installation process.
The height extension collar above the support base features a threaded section for making 100mm build ups and adjustments that are down to the millimetre. For levelling corrections up to 10.5% (6°), you can make pristinely level applications with the bearer support head that utilises a ball and socket system. With versatile joist lugs, you can vary bearer widths up to 100mm and, in instalments where decking tiles are laid instead of timber, an alternative deck tile head can substitute the bearer support head.
