Would this work as a barrier to prevent weeds from growing up through the mortar joints in a sandstone patio?
Answer:
For the product to be effective, the area should be completely cleared and any existing weeds killed before installing the fabric.
The fabric is designed to suppress new weed growth, but it will not kill weeds that are already present.
For best results, we recommend laying a layer of sand followed by gravel on top of the fabric once it has been installed.
