Brought to you by EcoGrid, is an aluminium triple-seal recess manhole cover designed for external use. It has great aesthetic benefits, blending in seamlessly with the surrounding area of application, such as tiled, paved and grassy surfaces. This is supported by the application method, where you can fill the recessed frame with the same substrates to prevent a large silver cover from disrupting the look of the landscape.
This recessed manhole cover is available with a wide range of internal dimensions for optimal choice. It is also tested to EN124 to lorry load bearing and manufactured from extruded aluminium with a 3mm galvanised steel bottom for a tough structure.
The cover incorporates reinforcement mesh for further durability. For security, it is lockable, equipped with three seals and various benefits. The two EPDM seals are positioned at the base and a third seal, a T-rubber seal, is on the outside frame to minimise tension between the cover and frame. As a result, this helps prevent dirt from building up and helps keep the manhole cover odour-proof, waterproof and gas-proof.
