This 90 degree tee junction is part of the Skyline Aluminium coping range from Alumasc. The 90 degree tee junction is available in black, polyester powder coated in-house at Alumasc, and is 662mm. Designed to suit a wall thickness of 571-600mm.
The Alumasc Skyline range of aluminium coping consists of a number of coping products for use at roofing and gutter interfaces. The Skyline aluminium coping range has been designed for use with Alumasc’s aluminium gutter and rainwater systems to create a complete eaves and roof drainage system that works together efficiently and precisely, creating a cohesive appearance.
The 90 degree aluminium tee junction is designed to connect two different sections of Alumasc Skyline coping at a horizontal 90 degree angle, creating a clean and weatherproof join with no visible fixings. The 90 degree aluminium tee junction is supplied with fixing straps - 2 fixing straps are provided with each piece of coping.
The Skyline range of aluminium copings has been designed as an economical and easily installed cap that sits on upstanding parapets, or in conjunction with flat or pitched roofs. The aluminium copings are extremely lightweight, which improves the installation time, whilst also being durable and non-corrodible, helping to maximise the lifespan and resulting in minimal maintenance. As a result, the aluminium coping has a lifespan of 40 years in rural or suburban areas, and up to 25 years in industrial or marine areas.
The copings are installed with a strapping method, which means there is no penetration required, which helps to improve weathertightness. Additionally, the strapping method also allows ventilation to occur over the top of the wall. This strap fixing provides rigidity and strength, but the fixings are not visible, improving the overall aesthetics of the product.
The aluminium range of Skyline coping is also popular amongst sustainable and environmentally friendly products, because aluminium is 100% recyclable - this means that it can be recycled and reused when it reaches the end of its lifespan.
