This 90 degree aluminium corner is part of the Alumasc Skyline aluminium coping range. The 90 degree aluminium corner is available in pearl white, polyester powder coated in-house at Alumasc, and is 362mm. This corner will suit a wall thickness of 241mm - 300mm.
The Alumasc Skyline range of aluminium coping consists of a number of coping products for use at roofing and gutter interfaces. The Skyline aluminium coping range has been designed for use with Alumasc’s aluminium gutter and rainwater systems to create a complete eaves and roof drainage system that works together efficiently and precisely, creating a cohesive appearance.
The 90 degree corner allows the coping to be fitted cleanly and accurately around any 90 degree bends within the upstanding parapet, wall or flat roof perimeter. The 90 degree corner is installed similarly to the rest of the coping products. A fixing strap profile with integral EPDM seal is used to create a weatherproof coating - no penetration of the coping is required, helping to maintain the weatherproof characteristics.
The Skyline range of aluminium copings has been designed as an economical and easily installed cap that sits on upstanding parapets, or in conjunction with flat or pitched roofs. The aluminium copings are extremely lightweight, which improves the installation time, whilst also being durable and non-corrodible, helping to maximise the lifespan and resulting in minimal maintenance. As a result, the aluminium coping has a lifespan of 40 years in rural or suburban areas, and up to 25 years in industrial or marine areas.
The copings are installed with a strapping method, which means there is no penetration required, which helps to improve weathertightness. Additionally, the strapping method also allows ventilation to occur over the top of the wall. This strap fixing provides rigidity and strength, but the fixings are not visible, improving the overall aesthetics of the product.
The aluminium range of Skyline coping is also popular amongst sustainable and environmentally friendly products, because aluminium is 100% recyclable - this means that it can be recycled and reused when it reaches the end of its lifespan.
