With a fully open base, this ACO Wildlife Refuge ensures that natural ground humidity is retained wherever it might be fitted. No metal reinforcement has been used in the construction so that animals are not disoriented by the distortion of magnetic fields. Additionally, the low thermal conductivity of polymer concrete means that the restricted opening has an inner temperature that will stay lower in hot environments.
