This ultra-thin Wallbarn 5mm PVC Pad provides sufficient elevation for decking while stopping the underlying membrane from coming into direct contact with heavy paving slabs. It also creates a straightforward protection/separation layer, guarding against surface damage caused by items like scaffolding, plant pots, or garden furniture.
This circular pad is shaped into a 150mm diameter flat disc made from PVC. A separate cross-spacer crafted from polypropylene can be loosely laid onto the top surface to retain spacing between each slab. If you are using this pad for decking, a cross-spacer is not necessary.
To erase the need for mechanical fixing, the weight of the slabs secures the surface and reduces the load on the roof, eliminating the inconvenience and mess associated with mortar. As a result, the installation process is streamlined, cost-effective and fast, and post-installation site inspections and leak detection are easy.
