Easy to handle and install, this Tensar SS20 Geogrid Reinforcement Roll is ideal for improving soil shear strength and soil stiffness through reinforcement, a geosynthetic function. With enhanced design life and decreased full-life costs, it works as an application for long-term loading that depends on long-term tensile strength with factors accommodating tensile creep.
Applications include void spanning, reinforced soil walls and slopes, veneer stability, basal embankment reinforcement and load transfer platforms.
Soil stabilisation geogrids are also available and ideal for applications with transient loading. Tensile stiffness, geogrid-soil interlock and the soil confinement/lateral restraint that occurs as an outcome are all relied upon. Restraint-based applications involve subgrade pavement optimisation, stabilisation, and soft soil capping.
