Description

This twice weathered coping stone is 50mm thick at the sides and 75mm thick at the apex, allowing rainwater to run off efficiently. Due to how these concrete returns are made, these handmade products are subject to manufacturers tolerances. Because of how the stones are lifted from their moulds, they each feature a slight tapering at the corners - this tapering is no more than 10mm.

These coping returns feature two 10mm wide drip grooves positioned 20mm from either side of the stone's undersides. They help protect your walls from water penetration which, over time, can cause damage and staining. Rather than allowing rainwater to run down the sides of the stones and underneath towards the wall, as rainwater reaches the drip groove, it instead drops down to the ground, leaving the wall protected.

Eurodec coping stones are made to order and are resistant to fading by UV in normal climate conditions. As they're manufactured from natural, quarried materials, there will be variations in colour in different batches. It's also worth noting that the stones will not reveal their accurate finish until they have had a period of exposure to sunlight and some weathering.

Please note:

You must not use acid-based cleaners on Eurodec Concrete Coping Stones.
It is advised that you test any cleaner on a small area before using it. Similarly, you must avoid high-pressure washers as the jet can damage the stone's surface and weaken the bond between the stone and substrate.
Staining can also arise from plants in the immediate vicinity.
